These are MesaDura's rules. Domino traditions vary from table to table; check the rules whenever you join a different game.

1. Choose your table

In MesaDura, choose Classic or Caribbean and a match target of 100 or 200 points. To learn at your own pace, start with a Bots match. Caribbean uses additional scoring bonuses; this guide explains the shared basics.

2. Meet your partner

Four players sit around the table, with partners opposite each other. A double-six set has 28 tiles. Each player receives seven. You see your own hand; the other hands remain hidden.

3. Match the open ends

The holder of the double-six opens the first hand with it. On your turn, place a tile that matches one of the chain's two open numbers. For example, if an end shows four, a tile with a four can connect there. Doubles do not create extra branches.

One move, made simple

Open end: 4 · Your tile: 4–2 · Connect the 4; the new open end is 2.

4. Play, or pass

If you have a legal tile, you must play. If you have none, you pass. There is no drawing from a spare pile. From your bottom seat, turns move to the player on your right, then your partner, then the player on your left.

5. Finish the hand

Empty your hand to win it for your partnership. Your team scores the dots remaining across every player's hand, including your partner's. Double-blank counts as zero. If nobody can play, a blocked hand is called a tranque; the selected mode determines how it is resolved.

6. Reach the match target

Hands continue until one team reaches the selected 100- or 200-point target. After an ordinary win, the player who emptied their hand opens the next hand with any tile. Classic and Caribbean have different special-bonus rules, so confirm your mode before starting.

7. Bring a friend

Open Friends to manage your people and private tables. A friend request and a table invitation are different: becoming friends does not automatically seat anyone. Follow the invitation's current instructions; a shared link may require the host's approval before you can take a seat.
